THE COLUMBUS MARATHON
(annually in October)
It all started when Gary faced and beat cancer himself in 2014, when he ran a marathon in the middle of his radiation treatment. Now Gary and his team run for others – bringing kids fighting cancer positivity and hope, that if you believe and have faith, anything is possible. We have been on of the top fund raisers each year for the Columbus Marathon with a goal of raising $5,000+ every year. You can help push us higher!
GOODIE BAGS FOR KIDS AT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
(annually in August)
This project aims to commemorate our board member, Caroline Gilani’s ‘I Beat Cancer’ anniversary by delivering goodie bags to Children’s Hospital patients on August 13 – the day Caroline “rang the bell” – meaning she was cancer free and finished with treatment. Your donation will help us to put together the goodie bags, go onsite to help inspire the kids, and help raise money overall for our cause!
NCAA MARCH MADNESS POOL
(annually in March)
Gary and his team manage a very unique and exciting March Madness pool. Have fun like in no other pool, while your entry fee helps fund the great cause for kids at Inspire Hope Today, raising at least $500 every year. With exciting and motivating daily updates from Gary, everyone is having fun and everyone is winning!

Based on Gary’s true story of fighting and beating cancer in 2014, Gary frames up ‘Gary’s
Race’, and gives tips on how to turn a major life challenge into a positive by taking
the opportunity to make yourself stronger Physically, Mentally, and Spiritually. in the Song, the Shirt, and the Book, Gary shares stories, books, songs, and verses that inspire him! Whatever life throws at you – however daunting it may be at the time – Gary’s positive attitude and energy are infectious!
